Confessing Your Faith

Let’s start this letter with this ONE thought; that is, confessing your Faith.

As a believer, let’s look in our own inner consciousness, what we really are in Christ; what it really means to have Jesus as the Lord of our life.

We come to the realization of the greatest miracle in our life, that of the saving knowledge of God’s miracle working power within us; sanctifying us, changing us from day to day, CHRIST IN US, the hope of glory.

It’s about time, we begin to realize whose we are and who we are in Christ. In the next few scriptures we will see just how much God loved us and we can become partakers of His Sonship because Christ of in us.

WE MUST PUT our faith in Christ Jesus as stated in these scriptures:

  • John 1:12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children (Greek- sons) of God.
  • John 11:52 It was a prediction that Jesus’ death would be not for Israel only, but for the gathering together of all the children of God scattered around the world.
  • Galatians 3:26 So you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
  • 1 John 5:19 We know that we are children (Greek-sons) of God and that the world around us is under the power and control of the evil one.
  • Galatians 3:26 So you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
  • 1 John 5:19 We know that we are children (Greek-sons) of God and that the world around us is under the power and control of the evil one.

Today, let’s take hold of the very fact, that we are part of His righteousness, not as “a mere man” but begin to take advantage of the Divine Nature of the most Holy God. God says to study to show thyself/myself approved to God.

Begin living the Word, practicing the Word, confessing that we are what the Word says we are. The Word says I am redeemed… “In whom I have my Redemption”.

We must be a separate people, NOT living like those around us: We go to the same places. Listen to their stories and talk.

We go to church, and when they preach a real-searching message and give an altar call, we usually go to the altar.

We cry a little and feel mighty sorry that we haven’t done any better, but go out and go back into our old life.

And yes, we know that we have Eternal Life, for we remember way back one night, when God gave us Salvation through Jesus Christ, Eternal Life and for a while we lived in heaven…even had a wonderful victorious life and led several people to Christ.

God wants us to “daily” confess our faith and take it to heart. Dying out of self, daily, not my will but God’s will. Consecrating our-self unto God, putting off the old man and living the life of a new man, a new creature in Christ. This is what is meant to take up your cross daily.

Do you know that He is faithful and just (righteous) to forgive us our trespasses! Old things past away, all things become new. Yes, a new mind, new thoughts, a new way of living. Christ-like, ” A Christian”.

  • 1 John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.

It is God’s perfect will and desire for us to walk in the light, always confessing our faith.

Initiating / activating the miracle of salvation in our life. He has made you His Righteousness.

Jesus said, “If a man love me, he will keep my word, and the Father and I will love him, and we will come and make our abode with him.”

  • Does this really mean that He will come and live in me?
  • Wouldn’t it be wonderful if He would live in my body, so wherever I went He would be with me; He would be in me.

Yes, it is God’s desire to live in each person through the Holy Spirit; to convict, guide, direct, teach and lead us into all truth.

When we as Christians, allow the Holy Spirit to have full reign in and through our life we than say as stated in Isaiah,

  • Isaiah 41:10 has become a reality: “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.”

Yes, He will be with me through out my life; in all my test, trials, sorrows and troubles. For I will say this is mine, all mine and I dare to confess my faith before the world; for I know God is with me and He is faithful.

  • Romans 8:11 states that “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. Just as he raised Christ from the dead, he will give life to your mortal body by this same Spirit living within you.”

Yes, the Holy Spirit, giving life to your body; leading me into all truth. I can go to God in faith believing and ask for healing when I am sick, make it strong if it is weak and pour into your spirit, the very consciousness of Christ.

The believer is a victor and an overcomer. Satan has no power over the believer who goes to God in faith.

  • Now, Hebrews 13:20-21 becomes truly a reality: “And now, may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ all that is pleasing to him. Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep by an everlasting covenant, signed with his blood. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

This truly becomes a vivid reality when we begin to confess what we are in Christ; in the face of everything.

Stand in faith, through every situation, every storm, trouble and trial, in all we do, STAND IN FAITH! We live in Christ, we move in Him and have our being in Him.

Yes, I believe God’s perfect plan is for all to be born again into the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus but just as we have seen in previous generations many have fallen away from God and refuse to believe in the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ because of there own selfish and lustful ways.

God has made it very clear in the Gospels that their is ONLY ONE WAY to God and that is through His Son Jesus Christ.

Christ is the only hope for eternity with God and is our only way to have a relationship with our Father, God.

It is my prayer, right now, if you have not accepted Jesus as your personal Savior that you would make this commitment;

ASK JESUS INTO YOUR HEART, repent, turn from your own ways and allow the Holy Spirit to guide and lead you into all truth.

The only hope for this generation is that they will see Christ in us as believers and that we STAND FIRM on the teachings of Christ.

The importance of living a life of holiness and purity of life and obedience of God’s Word cannot be compromised. In the Bible, GOD has made it very clear; IF YOU LOVE ME you will obey me.

If you love God you will obey Him, and He shall be with you until the very end.

Today, there will be sorrows here on earth but you can be assured that the day is coming very soon when Christ will return for His Church and He will take away all sorrow, sickness, pain and death. Both Heaven and Hell are real.

It is my prayer for ALL reading this letter that you will make Heaven your priority in life by living a Christ centered life and with that said you will make Heaven your home for eternity.

To make God our priority in life, we must Love the Lord with ALL our heart; our mind, our will, our emotions and yes, all our soul, spirit and body. CHRIST IN US THE HOPE OF GLORY.

Remember, as stated in Romans 8:28God causes everything to work together for the good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose.

As always, love in Christ Jesus,
Paul Lundmark
