Fulfillment of “Hope”

The blessings of the great outdoors. I thank God for the coolness and the quietness of this early morning as I prepare for this day with His Word.

As I meditate on His Word this morning, I read in Romans 8:24-28…about the fulfillment of hope. Let’s look at these scriptures.

” For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for what we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for us as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Do you see what I see? The “hope” of the Christian is “the appearing of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” into our lives for today and the “hope for our future of an immortal body with the appearing of our Lord in the sky and with Him for eternity”.

Hope and Faith worketh together!

As we make our requests known to God, there is an anticipation, “a hope” that what we asked for will be answered. This is where you can say “the rubber meets the road”, for if we “hope” for what we ask, we will also have to “patiently wait”, expecting that the “hope” will be fulfilled in Christ Jesus and through the power of the Holy Spirit making intercession for the believer. This is also the resting place of our faith.

The indwelling of the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us here on earth as God searchs our hearts and the Lord Jesus ever liveth to make intercession for us in heaven.

The very key to receiving this “blessed hope” is found in those ” that love God” for they are considered the one’s ” who are the called”.

How comforting to know that the Spirit filled believer, has a fullfilling hope of Christ and the Holy Spirit in us making intercession for us.

When we place our trust our faith in God our Father, Jesus Christ our Saviour and the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives; WE CAN be assured “that all things work together for good…”

Yes, the very prayer request of the Spirit being fulfilled.

The key to receiving God’s will in one’s life is found in loving God with all your heart, mind, emotions, spirit, body and soul. In other words, all that is within you.

Obedience, praise and worship given to our Heavenly Father will open the very flood gates of the Spirit for intercession and “all things working together for the good.”

Be blessed as we love the Lord with all our hearts, mind and soul.

As always, love is found in Christ Jesus, Paul Lundmark
