What a beautiful early Sunday morning rise. A nice comfortable morning as I look into the Word of God.
In Galations we read how the grace of God truly is remarkable unto man. For I believe God sees man through the blood of Jesus Christ and grace is given to man. This is why no man can have eternal life and be saved “except” through an individual belief, faith in the risen Savior, Jesus Christ. We can have a relationship with God through our belief in who Jesus Christ was and is today, the Savior of the world, given to whom will believe.
As the scripture state in Galations 2:16, “a man is not justified by works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ”. Did you get this…”we are justified (made righteous) by the faith of Jesus Christ” as we believe in Jesus Christ. IT IS HIS FAITH that is working out in us. We cannot make it happen. Our faith in Christ and His faith working in us!
So you might say that the very key to receive anything you may ask for, lies in these questions: “Are you in Christ Jesus? Are you a believer? For here lies the very fundamental beginning of our faith. It is to the one whom believes who will recieve.
As a believer (a follower of Christ) verse 19 and 20, “I am dead to the law that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
How exciting it is to know that we are not made righteous by the law or you might say, by works, but through faith in Jesus Christ; for if righteousness cometh by the law (works) then Christ is dead in vain.
This is the very secret of the of the Gospel of Jesus Christ… Christ in me. As stated in John 14:16-17,23, Christ lives in us by His Spirit. Yes, He is continually present in and with the believer, He knows all that we say, do, hears our prayers and guides our steps as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, His will working in and through us.
Let me state, this is not the faith we exercise in Christ but it is His faith which He lives out through us as we live a life in Him through faith (as a follower): Christ working in and through us.
“It is not I but Christ in me.” Yes, we receive Christ by faith and we continue in Christ by faith: for all we do in this life must be done by faith in Christ, Christ working in and through our lives. This is truly the working of the grace of God.
Throughout the New and the Old Testament alike, the great men of the ages, were justified by “their faith” in God and God’s Word.
As stated in Galations 3:11, ” But that no man is justified (made righteous) by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.”
Through the law we are brought to Christ but in Christ we are redeemed (made free) from the law. Do you see that “Christ Jesus” is our only hope? As the scriptures states,” in Him we live, move and have our being”.
When we believe and recieve Christ as our “Savior” we are putting on Christ, a “freedom” and heirs according to the promise. As a believer we become the seed of Abraham and partakers of the promise.
Let me conclude by asking, what is it that you are in need of? As a believer we are heirs to the promise. Their are many promises throughout the Bible. Find the promise that meets your need, condition or situation for today and by faith in Christ Jesus let you request be known. Do you believe this is for you? It is yours to receive by faith. “It is finished”, God’s plan for mankind, Salvation (healing) for whatever you are in need of!
Take your request to your Heavenly Father and by faith believe that God is working everything out for the good for those who loves Him. Do you believe? There are times we will receive immediate answers to our requests but there may be other times of waiting. Leave it there, in the hands of Christ, believe that God has heard your request…it is finished!
For me this is the true meaning of faith. Faith is seeing that which is not as though it is, according to God’s Word, His promises. We are to start out in faith and end in faith…in other words, faith in Christ is to be always abounding forward, never ending; until His return or until our earthly life is over.
Be patient in your faith and let Christ in you work things out for His glory and your good!
May God bless and be with you all on this beautiful Sunday morning.
