A New Beginning

What a beautiful morning, not a cloud in the sky, birds chirping, singing and the various noises of the early morning awaking. As I take a moment and open my ears to the early morning sounds of the beginning of a new day, I am at awe of God’s greatness and of His created world; which comprises of two dimensions: that of the created world and the redeemed world.

As stated in Ephesians 2:10, “for we are his workmanship (things that are made), created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” This “workmanship” you might say are God’s divine “poems” written by the Creator, our Creator. He has created for us “a new nature” to live a life of “good works” as stated in verse 10, instead of by “the desires of the flesh and of the mind”.

How exciting to know that we are living in such a time like this “a new nature” if we choose to live in it. A life in Christ Jesus is choosing a life where we can be close to God, our creator, “by the blood of Jesus”. Ephesians 2:14, “For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.”

Through Christ, He has breached the gap between the Jew and the Gentile, abolishing in his flesh the enmity (division), that of living by the law of commandments contained in ordinances, making himself one new man, making peace with man, a holy temple, or dwelling place where he can reside. We as believers (followers of Christ) are to be that dwelling place that God has created. A relationship that God so desires and planned for His creation.

Ephesians 2:21-22, “In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit”.

This is truly the mystery of the Church, for we are the Church, the “habitation of God through the Spirit”. This is where we can see the Godhead come together through salvation and prayer. For we have access to the Father only through faith in the Son and by the implementation work of the Holy Spirit. The three worketh together as one. How exciting to be a part of this new creation.

How about you? I choose to put away the old and receive this new creation in Christ Jesus. We as believers have access to all the “promises of God” written from the beginning until now. God’s blessings written in Psalms and Proverbs and other passages throughout the Bible are there and available for the believer to claim and apply in our lives.

If you want a new beginning, a new start, a new life…it is waiting for you in Christ Jesus; TODAY, right now, make up your mind that Today, you will serve the Lord… ask God to forgive you and repent from your old ways. Because of God’s grace and your faith in Jesus Christ you can and will have a new nature.

Right now, confess Jesus Christ as Lord of your life, body soul and spirit. He is willing and ready to forgive you of all your trespasses; for His blood washes all your sin away, never to be brought up again. Believe in your mind, soul and spirit, (heart) that Jesus Christ died, shed His blood for your sins, has risen and has provided salvation for you.

Repent from your sins, ask for forgiveness for sinning against God and man. Turn from your sin never to return to them. With this spoken from your heart you are now a New Creature in Christ Jesus.

Yes, you are now born of a new nature, a born-again Christian; Christ Jesus is in you, the Spirit of God is in you and now have access to the Father through Christ in you.

Think for a moment what this really means. You are a child of the King, and as His child you have access to all the benefits of His Heavenly Kingdom. Do you believe? God’s plan of salvation is as simple as the above prayer “if” spoken from the heart. Read the Bible and let the Holy Spirit guide you into ALL truth!

Begin to claim and apply these promises for yourselves as a born again believer in Christ Jesus. Old things are past away and all things have become new, Praise God!

As always,

Love in Christ Jesus, Paul Lundmark
