Peace Unto You

I have noticed these early mornings beginning to be cooler…could it be summer is starting to wind down? The leaves are still fully green on the trees, so we should still be able to enjoy more warm days through September.

As I reflect on the Psalms written by David, I see His genuine love for God and His unfailing love and grace to all who follow Godliness. His Words as He has penned them are encourging to the spirit and soul of man.

Throughout this Book of Psalms we can see two ways a person can live. He continues to show the contrasting of two roads a man can travel; simply put, the broad way that leads to destruction or the narrow road leading to everlasting life.

“…the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. Stand in awe and sin not… offer the sacrifices of righteousness and put your trust in the Lord”.

We can be assured to be at peace and at rest, when we lay our head to rest for the night; for we follow in the way of godliness. Yes, we are at perfect rest when our minds, heart, spirit and soul is on the Lord.

Here is my daily attitude toward my Savior and Creator of my soul…With my whole heart; my mind, thoughts, lips and hands will I give continual praise, worship and thanksgiving unto my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus and so also I am grateful to my Heavenly Father who has provide much joy and gladness into my very soul.

As the old hymn reflects…It is well with my soul. Yes, I am at rest in my soul that God has me in the palm of His hand!

Be encouraged in the Lord, He truly has our back covered as we live our lives in Him and follow the direction and leading of the precious Holy Spirit.

The joy of the Lord is truly my strength! Blessings as you live your life in Christ.

As always, love in Christ Jesus,

Paul Lundmark
