This morning I awake with the praises of God in my heart. As I sit under my gazebo in the early morning rain I once again go to the Word of God in Psalm 33 where we read how God considers man’s works.
“The word of the Lord is right and all His works are done in truth.” God is righteous and loves justice.
As I ponder over the scriptures, I read in verse 6, that by the Word of the Lord the heavens were made; all space, the cosmos, uncountable stars and galaxies were made in an instant by the all present (breath of His mouth) Word of God our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, also stated in John 1:3.
He spoke and it was done. This is the same Christ in the believer. He fashions our hearts alike, (individually) and considers our ways. In other words, He can make us a new, yes we are new creature in Christ Jesus.
In verse 18, His eye is upon those that fear (reverence Him) and hope in His mercy. Here we can gather that God is omnipresent all seeing, all knowing.
As we look into Psalm 33 we can see that God considers the works of man thru who He is:
God sees all; He is omnipresent.
God fashions all; He is omnipotent.
God understands all; He is omniscient.
We have hope of deliverance from evil for our deliverance comes from God; not by military power (33:16), not by manpower -as in much strength (33:16), or horsepower (33:16), but by HIS SPIRITUAL POWER.
Believing in anything other than God’s Spiritual power is false hope.
Do you see what I see…The Lord God Almighty is our HOPE. In Christ we have a BLESSED HOPE who delivers our soul from death (hell). He is our help and shield in times of trouble. (33:20)
David ends this Psalm by stating: “Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, ACCORDING AS WE HOPE IN THEE”.
Let’s continually praise Him and may we always place our trust in Him. May He be the first and the last thoughts in our mind and heart each day!
I will awake praising Him and I will go to sleep praising Him; for “in Him I live, move and have my being”.
God truly cares for mankind and considers our ways…make Him the first and last, the in between and yes, make Him your all. Give Him your all and watch Him direct your path for the Holy Spirit will guide, lead you into all truth.
I am truly blessed to be called HIS CHILD and to call HIM MY GOD.
Love in Christ Jesus, Paul Lundmark
