Reconciliation – God to Man and Man to God

Good morning to all. What a beautiful morning. While sitting in my backyard watching the morning awake my thoughts go to what it means to be reconciled to God.

As stated in 2 Corinthians 6:17-21. In these verses we truly see how marveleous God is. The truth is that God has already worked out the differences (reconciled) sinners to Himself by His goodness, the sacrifice of His Son.

The fact is that the sinner has not reconciled themselves to Him. This is the problem. This process of regeneration of man made as a new creature in Christ is simply: “old things are passed away, behold all things are new”. God wants a relationship with His creation (man) and has made a way through regeneration. How excellent is that.

Regeneration is simply this: being born-again and baptized by the Holy Spirit into the spiritual body of Christ. This is a miracle in itself for no human natural process could ever and can ever explain or duplicate or ever accomplish such a miracle. God is full of mercy and love towards mankind. With God, His Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit taking up residence in the believer we cannot go wrong.

Isn’t time to become reconciled to our Heavenly Father? As stated in verse 21, ” For he (GOD) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who new no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him”.

Accepting Jesus into our hearts our life is the only way to the Father. Salvation is for all whom will receive, redeeming us unto Himself.

When we are reconciled unto God in Christ Jesus we become His “ambassadors” to compel all men to accept His Son and His work of salvation…this is truly “the Great Commission”.

We truly have a new life in Christ Jesus! Be blessed as you walk in your new found life in Christ Jesus. You and God walking, talking together once again. How great is that!

As always, love in Christ Jesus,

Paul Lundmark.
