The WORD and His Word

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood… bright, clear and a refreshing morning.

As I awoke this morning, my thoughts were on the God of this universe, His Son, Jesus, my Savior and my Lord and the Holy Spirit; the one who distributes or you might say is the very unction of God. Yes, God, Jesus and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit resides and takes up residence in whom ever will believe, trust and follow His ways.

I am convinced nothing can seperate me from the love of God; for God is all about love and watches over those who truly loves Him. When you love someone you watch over them, you care for them, you ptotect them. And yes, sometimes we cry over them when you cannot help them.

We do have hope for them and it comes from the Godhead. We can go to our Father, God, through Christ Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit with our concerns and needs and can be confident God hears us. It is so refreshing to know the we have God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit with us at all times.

There is nothing more important to me than to live in Christ and to be walking in Christ as I make this journey through this life into the next.

Remember this, we are not to “work” at or for our salvation for it is received strickly by grace through faith, not of works. We were created to do good works and works are the visible evidence of our salvation; if we are truly saved.

This verse assures us that God is working in us through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Philippians 2:12-13, ” For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure”.

I found something very interesting written in the scriptues. Verse 14-16 states, ” Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Now to “murmur” means to complain or grumble and ” disputing” means ” arguing”. As a Christian we are to work out our own inward salvation, and as stated above we are never to complain or argue, but rather to accept the difficulties in life willingly, with confidence that the Lord is allowing them for good reasons as He is preparing us for the age to come.

How excellent is HIS WAYS. The scriptures are consider ” the word of life” in the written form, but Jesus Christ is ” the Word of life” in human form.

Yes, we are to hold on to “the word of God”, never forget it, may it always be in the for front of our thoughts, mind and heart, that we may not sin against God.

Other facts of the importance of the word: the scriptures are also called;

“the word of his grace”, Acts 20:32

“the word of the kingdom”, Ma 13:19

“the word of the promise”, Ro 9:9

“the word of reconciliation”, 2 Co 5:19

” the word of truth”, Ep 1:13

“the word of exhortation”, He 13:22

…and many more awesome titles.

Read the word and let it take deep roots in you heart and soul.

May the Word be with you, God Bless,

As always, live in Christ Jesus,

Paul Lundmark.
