The Hand of God

This morning as I step out into my gazebo I can feel the brisk air of fall sweeping in. How quickly the seasons seem to change.

Changes in life will happen, but as we trust God our Creator to watch over us His hand is always there through the changes. When we keep our thoughts on things that are pure and holy our mind and heart reflects on the good around us and the awesomeness of our Heavenly Father.

As I look around at the quietness, the calmness of this morning, My thoughts go to the true power of God and how He holds everything together. Yes, I can imagine God holding the whole universe in His hand. There is NOTHING to hard or to small for God our Creator!

My thoughts began to ponder over the meaning of the hand of God and the saying, the whole world is in His hands, yet, He reaches down individually, with His hand, you might say to care for you and for me.

God is a loving God and does everything through His righteous judgement. Because of HIS LOVE and His righteousness, He reaches out to you and me through His Son, Jesus, and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yes, His hand is a righteous gentle touch of love to all whom will recieve. It hurts the Father when His children does not yield to the guidance of His Spirit and rejects His correction.

Never forget, God is constantly drawing us to Him with His gently hand, through the power and working of the Holy Spirit. Accepting His Son, Jesus, into our heart, opens the doorway for our relationship with God and to God’s heart.

Yes, God made a way for us to be in right standing with Him and live in obedience to His ways through the working and indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This brings pleasure to Him and in like manner His children lives in relationship with Him.

God has created us to live a righteous life without the stain of sin and as we keep our thoughts, mind and spirit lifted up to Him; there comes a desire, a longing to be with Him. This truly is what is meant to be in right standing with our Heavenly Father, God.

We make decisions daily, what to do where to go, and how to live. These decisions are made from our thoughts, mind, heart and our spirit. Yes, the very Spirit of God in us guiding us into all truth.

When we love our Father we will not want to disappoint Him. We will daily choose to look to Him for our guidance and not to this world for our much needed love.

Simply put, we will know the love of the Father when we accept His free gift of His Son in our lives. Christ Jesus died that we can be made right in God’s eyes.

Do you desire the Father’s love. It is as simple as saying, I yield, I surrender my sinful ways to you, God. I believe by faith in your Word that you gave your Son, Jesus, for me. I believe Jesus is the Son of God, was born, died on the cross and was resurrected for my sins so I could be made in right standing before God my Father.

Today as I accept you, Jesus, as Lord and Savior of my mind, body and soul; I believe Jesus died for me, that my sins are washed away by your shed blood and I am made right with God. Yes, I turn to you and accept the Holy Spirit into my life; my mind, heart and soul. I believe right now, I am made clean, my sins are washed away. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus, with new thoughts, a new mind to serve you, obey you and walk with you. Amen.

Yes, the hand of God is gentle and always guiding us unto Him and leading us into all truth. We cannot and will not fail God, when we have determined in our thoughts, mind and heart to follow Christ and allow the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead us into the truth of the Gospel. As we read His Word, the Word of truth will keep us on the path of righteousness and in right relationship with our Heavenly Father, God.

Today, I walk with God and God walks with me.

Today, I talk to God and God talks to me.

Today, as God speaks, I will listen and obey, follow His instructions.

Daily walking with God will take daily talking to God.

Yes, I/we have God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. The very hand of God, leading, guiding and walking with us daily, moment by moment throughout our earthly life into eternity, forever being with God.

Yes, God is truly a loving and caring God. He watches over His children, those that love Him will obey and follow His instructions and will find safety in His hand.

Be bleesed this day as the very hand of God leads and directs you this day!

As always, love in Christ Jesus,

Paul Lundmark
