Christ in you/in me the Hope of Glory a Book of TRUTH from Colossians

In my daily thoughts for today, I will be quoting scriptures from God’s Word, truly a Book of Truths. It is also a book to be read by all. A book that leads us through the pathway of life; building relationship with our Father, God, through His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit as our guide.

The book of Colossians is another exciting book in the Bible. God has given us so many great promises if we would only believe by faith and receive and apply them in our everyday life. There is a power that will ALWAYS keep us, fill us and strengthen us along life’s path.

Again, place your name in the parentheses replacing my name with yours to make the scriptures personal and come alive.

Colossians 1:11 – 12 speaks of this great promise…Colossians 1:11-12 (NLT) We also pray that you (Paul) will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you (Paul) will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you (Paul) be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you (Paul) to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. No matter what happens in life, God’s power will fill (Paul) us with His joy…the joy of the Lord that gives us strength.

Colossians 1:15 – 17 (NLT Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things (Paul) we can see and the things (Paul) we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.

Are you reading and seeing what I see in these scriptures. Christ Himself existed before anything of this world, heavenly and earthly. How exciting it is to know that we can have a relationship with the one God who created everything for, His Son Jesus. It is assuring to know that Christ Jesus has the power to hold everything together.

Just think, with Christ holding everything together no one can destroy this earth unless Christ Himself lets go …and BOOM, it exists no more.

As always, love in Christ Jesus,
Paul Lundmark
