Life Forever with God – The Book of Philippians Comes Alive

This morning I am awaken to the awesome thought of forever being in Heaven with God. But in like manner my heart goes out to the lost who will forever live a life in torment with Satan and his demons. If only the lost could see and realize what life without Christ truly means.

Once you leave this earth at death, all will meet their maker, this is a fact. Yes, you will either have Heaven or Hell waiting for you. We have a choice. My prayer that all who reads this letter will decide right now to make Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and make Heaven your choice.

Do you know Him?

Would you like to know Him?

Right now if you are not sure if you will be in Heaven or Hell you can be sure by repenting of your sins and asking Jesus to come into your heart and become your Lord and Master.

Born-again is simply, realizing you were born into sin and you are lost in your sins. You believe that Jesus is the Son of God, died on the cross at Calvery, shed His blood for your sins, and your sins are washed away by the shedding of His blood. You believe He was resurrected for you so you can be eternally with Him.

Begin by asking Jesus into your heart, repenting, you are committed to turn from your old ways of sin and you confess Jesus as your Lord. You are committed in following His ways, dedicated to Christ Jesus and will follow His leading and guidance as His Spirit directs and teachs you the truth of the Gospel.

If you said yes to Jesus and have  determined in your heart to follow Him you are now born-again, a new creature in Him. A new life has begun! Praise God for your new life in Him!

Again in todays thoughts let’s make the scriptures and the thoughts personal and come alive by placing your name in the parentheses as I have. The scriptures will become both active and alive as you take them to your heart!

Philippians 3:21 (NLT) “He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.”

Following Christ and obeying His Word guarantees Eternal Life. The day is coming…when these mortal bodies will be changed into a glorious body. Just think, no more sickness or disease, aching feet or tired bodies, but I (Paul) will have a brand-new body as glorious as the body of Jesus!

May this be your prayer as I make it mine! “Heavenly Father, I thank you for your promises! At times I am so overwhelmed at what you have given to the believer and I am so thankful for ALL you have provided for and done for me (Paul) today! Amen.”

Philippians 4:4; 6-8 (NLT) (vs 4) Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! (vs 6-8) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you (Paul) need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you (Paul) will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you (Paul) live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

All praise to God our Heavenly Father through Christ Jesus.

As always, love in Christ Jesus,
Paul Lundmatk
