As I sip my morning ☕ of coffee, and enjoy sitting outside in his creation pondering over the past and future which is to come.
I anticipate with great joy, my/ our future in Christ and Eternity with my/ our Heavenly Father.
What great joy it will be to see and be together with all our family and friends who have since past/died in the faith; whom we will see when we enter into our heavenly abode.
Salvation in and through Jesus Christ is a must to be united with past believers both family and friends.
To enjoy our future there must be a godly repentance and forgiveness over sin. There are two types of sorrow as written in 2 Corinthians; “godly sorrow” and ” sorrow of the world”.
“Godly sorrow” is that which leads to true repentance and correction. This is a repentance from the heart to God and the person involved if that is the case.
They both require that of repenting (turning from the sin) and asking God and the person involved for forgiveness. This will prove the genuiness of their salvation and a healing in their heart.
The “sorrow of the world” on the other hand, is not sorrow of the sin, but sorrow over its consequences. You can be sure this type of sorrow produces eternal death and not salvation.
As stated in 2 Corinthians 7:10, “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. See also (Matt. 26:75).
With godly sorrow there will be a 180 degree turning away from the sin. When a person determines in his mind, thoughts and heart to never to return to that sin and never give a place for it again then healing can begin to take place. God knows the very heart of every person and knows your intentions being for the good or bad.
God is truly a loving and forgiving God but you might say he is also a jealous God, for you cannot have any other God or idols before him. This includes our own self interests or agenda. When you come before him it must be in spirit and truth.
God is a just God and deals with both good and evil.
Simply put, right is right and wrong is wrong. There is no gray part of right and no riding the fence. God is a just God. In and through Jesus Christ he sees us as a perfect vessel made in his likeness for in Christ Jesus there is no sin.
As always, love in Jesus Christ,
