How exciting to know we do not have to live by the law alone but now we are redeeded living by faith; as we read in verse 28; “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law”
Truly, faith in Christ Jesus is the truth of the matter. We are made righteous in God’s eyes, by faith; in believing, in trusting and receiving Christ as Lord and Savior of our mind, body, spirit and soul. His blood washes away our sin and we as believers are made a New Creation in Christ, “for all things are made new and old things are past away”.
Man has lost their fear of God. Man must come to a realization that they are lost without God in their lives. When we once again fear the Lord God, turn to Him, cry out to Him with a repentent heart, seek His face, turn from our sinful old ways; God will heal our mind, body and soul.
Yes, God desires a relationship with His creation but it will take us as an individual to come to Him by faith, trusting in His infallible plan of Salvation for all mankind, the very Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Christ, new believers are to be dead to sin and alive unto righteousness, (right living). Apostle Paul put it this way in Romans 6:11-14,
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
As a believer, in Christ Jesus, we are dead to the law and alive to God, for the law could never deliever us from sin; but the Spirit that was is in Christ is now in the believer.
The power of the Holy Spirit now delivers us from the power of the flesh, unrighteousness. The Holy Spirit gives us Sonship and assures us of a future glory with God our Father and Christ Jesus, His Son.
As always, love in Christ Jesus,
