We are NOT Powerless

This morning our minds are on the celebration of Christmas, enjoying the last few days of celebating, the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

His love, mercy and grace, was proven to be most powerful, then, over 2000 years ago and is most powerful, today, tomorrow and forever.

Yes, Christ Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forever!

“It is finished”, for the believer, eternity with Him in Heaven.

For the non-believer, a life forever without Him, alone and in despair, a place forever seperated from the love, mercy and grace of God.

Let me encourage you this morning if you have not made Jesus Lord and Savior of your life now would be a good time to do so. This is the only life in which you can make it right, there is no other time.

Now is the time, while there is still time. Tomorrow may be to late. Don’t wait until it’s to late to make it right. We do not know when our last breath will be. We are not guaranteed tomorrow.

You can have that peace of mind and assurance that you will be in Eternity with Christ. If Jesus is tugging at you heart won’t you open it fully and let Him in. It is as simple as asking Him to come in.

As we look ahead to the New Year, soon approaching, let’s open our hearts with great expectations for a greater move of the Holy Spirit in our own personal life.

As we seek God’s face in this New Year let’s determine to build a deeper relationship with Him through prayer and Bible reading.

I believe Jesus did not leave us powerless. It all comes down to seeking His face. Seeking God and His righteousness. Go after God until He touches you and then never let go. We should always be hungry for more of God. God has so much more for the one who is determined to hear from Him.

It may mean taking time out, being alone with God “in the secret place.” a place alone away from all distractions.

Yes, God will come in and you will NEVER BE THE SAME. What are you waiting for?

In this letter let me first say, isn’t it awesome that God didn’t leave us powerless? The Book of ACTS brings us the Day of Pentecost. This is the fulfillment of prophecy of the coming of the Holy Spirit for all who would receive.

Yes, filling all who desire Him, with the very power of God, to be a witness, a living testamony, of a loving and merciful God. ,

The church of ACTS was truly filled with power and was and is, most powerful. God gave us “the church” a promise, for all mankind to receive power “AFTER the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) comes upon you”.

As always, love in Christ Jesus,
Paul Lundmark
