1/1 – The New Year Brings High Expectations

As I enter this early morning rise of the beginning of a NEW YEAR may I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Let’s begin this NEW YEAR and this morning’s thought on the importance of right thinking. It is of great importance to Cast Down Every High Thing: as stated in 2 Corinthians 10:5, With these weapons we break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing God. With these weapons we conquer their rebellious ideas, and we teach them to obey Christ.

God has given us authority over the principalities of this world. Yes…Satan is defeated and is under our feet, as a believer. Our soul is in the hands of Almighty God.

Remember…in all that we do, we must never allow it to build a proud monument, to ourselves but all that we do must always point to Jesus…the very cause of our existence.

“His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”. Yes…salvation available to the lost and hurting of this world. Genesis 11:1-4 At one time the whole world spoke a single language and used the same words. As the people migrated eastward, they found a plain in the land of Babylonia and settled there. They began to talk about construction projects. “Come,” they said, “let’s make great piles of burnt brick and collect natural asphalt to use as mortar. Let’s build a great city with a tower that reaches to the skies—a monument to our greatness! This will bring us together and keep us from scattering all over the world.”

Let me encourage everyone to start this NEW YEAR with God in mind. Start the NEW YEAR making Jesus your Lord and Savior of you have not yet made that decision. The born-again experience is a guarantee to the believer, of Eternity with Him.

When we accept Christ, we accept His guidance and leading, yes, His Spirit, a new spirit lives in us to do His will.

Every day, look for your Lord to guide you with the very power of the Holy Spirit in all truth and righteousness. Christ must be all in all.

May Jesus be your awaking thoughts, your daily thoughts, from moment to moment and your closing thoughts for the day!

Happy New Year to ALL! May the blessings and favor of God follow you throughout this New Year!

As always, love in Christ Jesus,
Paul Lundmark
