Trusting God in Prayer

My thoughts today go to that of prayer and trust.  The just (the born-again believer) must live by faith.

In other words, applying the Word of God to and in our daily lives, living it by faith, trusting God in all we do. We cannot know or experience God without the exercise of it.

Just as we trust and believe by Faith in and for our Salvation, so we must trust, believe and really expect by faith that God will hear us in our prayers.

So, how about your prayer life? We are justified by faith, believing, applying and expecting that what He says in His Word is the GOSPEL TRUTH. God will give to those whom will trust and believe His Word, “insight” bringing His “logos” word into a “rehma” word, bringing His Word alive and active…this is the miracle of God and His Word.

As you read His Word it must take root in your heart and spirit. In other words, no doubt, no wavering; just like a child trusts His/ Her Daddy and makes a big jump into His arms.

Do you trust God, your creator?

So we must, in that respect, jump into the arms of our Heavenly Father, God, with COMPLETE TRUST in His Word. His promises are YES and AMEN.

Expecting by faith and anticipation is a great experience, for when we know it will happen…IT WILL HAPPEN. That is FAITH!

You may say, but Brother Paul, I have tried to believe. Jesus said to simply believe. Trying to believe will not work. Trust is to believe by faith.

When you ask in faith you believe God, you trust God and leave it in His hands. Are you desperate?  Ask, seek and knock and believe God.

Let me say it again, TRUST requires letting go of ANY doubt…no wavering. GOD is a healer, our healer and wants the best for His children.

It will take believing in and on His Word, believing that God has provided all that is needed for me/you, today. “Not by might nor by power but by my spirit saith the Lord of hosts”.

Be encouraged, find the promise for your need in His Word, believe the promise, trust the promise for you and as it takes root, allow the truth of the promise to grow, by faith, stand and let God.

Begin to see your promise as a seed that began to take root, it must be watered by His Word and prayer.

Simply put, trust and obedience brings forth the fruit of your petitioning. God’s will and GOD WILL!

Next time you have a request you desire from God, ask expectantly and be ready to do anything that He might tell you.

It is impossible for you not to experience God and His power working in and thru your life when you pray (His promises) and not dwell on the problem.

He has promised to fill you with the Holy Spirit…who will guide you into ALL truth. Use Scripture to boost your prayer confidence. If you want to become a prayer warrior, saturate yourself with the words and examples of prayer warriors found in the Bible.

  • Jesus stated in John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

As always, love in Christ Jesus,
Paul Lundmark
