Spreading the Good News of the Gospel – November 7

A morning thought… of thankfulness for all those who SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL…

I thank God for the teacher of the Gospel… for I was 10 years old, when I was invited to VBS that summer, where a teacher shared and taught the Gospel. It was a week of fun, games and teaching about Jesus and the Gospel; in which I came forward and gave my heart to Jesus and asked Him to be my Savior. Yes, I became a born-again believer, a Christian.

..I thank God for the Evangelist of the Gospel…for it was during a week long revival that I received the infilling of the Holy Spirit as He taught on the necessity of the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

That was the week I came to God with an expectation, an anticipation, for more of God. Yes, as the Evangelist preached with such an anointing, there was such a stirring within me, a desire, a hunger for what Jesus said all believers needed, after they became born-again, the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

THIS WAS THAT… and I wanted that. During the prayer times at the alter, the Holy Spirit moved with power and might, forever changing my spirit, mind, thoughts and soul. It was after that Revival there became within me a boldness to share the Gospel to those in my life, work and along my pathway.

…I thank God for the Preacher of the Gospel…for without the Preacher how could anyone know of such a Gospel.

As stated in Romans 10:13-15, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

…I thank God for the Pastor who preaches the Gospel…for without the Pastor (the shepard) …their would be no Shepard of the flock and the flock would go astray. I have been under the guidance of a Pastor all my life and I am thankful for their teaching and Sheparding of the flock in which God has sent their way.

For the above reasons and I’m sure I could list many more reasons to be thankful for those sharing the Gospel but for those reasons listed above… has made an impact on and in my life and I am very gratefuI.

YES, I am thankful for those who share the Gospel…May you always be ready and willing: to Share God, Share Love and Share Life.

As always, love in Christ Jesus,
Paul Lundmark
