March 26: The Invisible Truth

This morning, my thoughts go to this time of great urgency for the world to turn to God with their hearts and look into His Word, the Bible. His Word is the truth, active and alive to the believer. Let’s take a look at what God has to say about obeying and following His Word. God, our creator, wants a right relationship with all His creation. Our life on earth is just a vapor in comparison to life hereafter.

We all must understand God is still the Divine Supreme Creator in all things and for all things. Yes, He is still in control, but we must come to an understanding that God uses people to fulfill his plan. He has a plan for all, and we need to put our trust and faith in His Word and who He is. The scriptures below show the importance of following God’s Word. Prayer and God’s Word must become a lifestyle of the believer and is to part of our everyday living. As a spirit filled believer, praying in the Holy Spirit will break down barriers and walls as we enter into His presence.

Prayer is simply communication to God that of asking in adoration, thanksgiving, with a repentant heart and believing for what we asked for by faith according to His Word.  2 Chronicles 7:13-15, If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer [that is made] in this place (KJV).

God is calling the people of the world to obey Him; to look to Him and yes to follow His ways. God has given man free will to decide whom they will serve. We all are born into sin.  Our natural, carnal nature is to have our own way and to be self-centered. Satan and his demons will try and be the god of your mind, soul, and spirit. We all must turn to God’s only Son, Jesus, for our salvation and our Savior in this world. Yes, when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He will give us a new spirit and desire to serve God, our Creator. As believers, we are given a new spirit. A changed heart, mind, soul, and spirit.

I truly believe God allows and uses these evil ways to cause men to draw to Him and turn from our own evil ways. There is a time soon approaching that God WILL SAY, ENOUGH. Yes, there is a time that Satan, the devil, and his demons will be sent forever to a place of eternal fire, Hell.  It’s in God’s Word!  There is a time coming that will truly be devastating to the whole world, as stated in Rev. 16-17, the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘It is done!’ (NIV).

We, as a people, are not there yet, but be aware of the times. We are to look up to where our help comes from. Believers can be assured to be with God in Heaven when we leave this earth. As Apostle Paul states in Philippians 3:20, we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior (NLT).
