This morning, let it be said that God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever. His Word never changes, and He has never failed! His Word is truth! With ALL that is happening in the world today, fear has swept the land. Today, people want a quick fix…they want it NOW, but sometimes God does things differently than what we expect. God wants a relationship. Building a relationship is built upon time and trust. God is saying, do you trust me?
God has a plan, and it is built upon a relationship that calls upon TRUST. God’s plan includes faith. Faith must be applied, which is built upon God’s Word. When FAITH is called upon, it will take a relationship built by trust. Here, we see faith applied with no doubt. Romans 12:12, Rejoicing in hope; patient in (affliction) tribulation; continuing instant in prayer (KJV).It might be said this way; when faith is applied, it is finished! God desires a relationship with His creation. God is calling people to come to Him with a repentant heart. It will take faith, a trust in God’s Word, believing in Jesus as the Son of God and receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
God’s Word calls for us to ask, seek, and knock in faith and trust. God requires us to come to Him with our whole heart; mind, bodies, souls, and spirits. In other words, with all that is within us. He knows the intentions of our heart. Go to God with an opened heart, not my will but yours. When you are in need, you are to go to God in prayer, asking and believing in faith that He hears you and will answer you. Speak to Him like a child would speak to His Daddy. Do you believe you will receive what you asked for? Do you trust your Lord has this? Waiting on the Lord has all to do with trust, patience, and faith. Continue to love the Lord your God, with all that’s in you. God’s peace will be with you, and the Holy Spirit will lead, guide, and comfort you. God will heal your mind, spirit, and soul.
GOD IS IN CONTROL! Yes, He has this! Build your relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit by communicating with God on a daily basis through prayer and reading His Word. He will give you understanding as your mind stays on Him. The Holy Spirit will lead and teach you all truth. Don’t allow your mind to wonder. Stay focused on who God is and who you are in Christ Jesus. Let me encourage you with this statement, “God is a loving God and cares about you”. He knows your every need and situation, and He will answer the one who asks in faith. Again, I will say, get to know God through His Word and communicate with Him. So, let me ask you. Do you believe God hears you? Do you believe God cares? Do you believe God will answer you? When we ask in faith, we are to believe we will receive. Be patient, trust God, and help is on the way!
