April 16: Are You His Dwelling Place, His Temple?

My thoughts this morning continued on yesterday’s theme on being God’s Temple. The Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of God, wants to take up residence in every believer. If we are to be the dwelling place of the Spirit of the most high God, then we must be committed to His ways. Are you committed to living a life that’s right?

Titus 2:14, Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works (KJV). Do you encourage others, or do you tolerant sin? Sin can be deceiving.

Hebrews 3:13, But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin (KJV).

Yes, you are His dwelling place!
A Temple of Miracles,
 A Temple of great joy,
 A Temple of Praise,
 A Temple of worship,
 A Temple for His use,
A Temple for His purpose – made in His very likeness,
 A Temple of GLORY!

Jude 1:24, Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy (KJV).

I heard this once spoken, “Discipline, for a Christian, begins with the body.”

So you might say, to discipline our body unto God, will consist all of these…our mind, thoughts, emotions, our will, what we see, what we hear, what we say, what we eat, what we touch, and where we go…yes, if we discipline our body in these areas and align them up with our NEW SPIRIT, Satan can not and will not find any room in us.

In other words, you could say we will be ONE in Christ Jesus. When we align our body and soul with our new spirit, we will be able to say, “In Him (in Christ), we live, move, and have our being.” This will take our spirit, body, and soul becoming as one in Christ Jesus.
