Take Me with You

On a Monday morning, in the quiet of dawn, after a period of prayer, praise, and worship, I went to work. After work I expressed to my wife my day long experience. Gleneva captured my experience in the form of poetry. As I started to share my experience, she penned my words, entitled, Take Me with You

Early on Monday Morning, before work, I went to church to pray. My prayer time was so rewarding, I found myself just wanting to stay.

I was lost in praise and worship, as I prayed and walked the floor. Soon my alarm told me I must be leaving, so I headed for the door.

I stopped for a moment, overwhelmed by my tears. I stood there, tears falling, saying, “God, can you do something special.” It was very clear.

He spoke into my spirit as the tears continued to fall. “Take me with you, they need to hear the call.

Drying my eyes, I left the building and off to work I flew. Praising and worshipping in my spirit, but others around me had no clue.

I entered my place of business and to my workstation I went. Praising and worshipping Jehovah, for it was heaven sent.

A co-worker rounded the corner, and quickly stopped dead in her tracks. Saying, “Today I do not see you Paul, all I see is Jesus and that is a fact.”

I loaded the letters in the truck and started out the door. My feet were as light as feathers, as I walked across the floor.

The time clock had already been ticking, and my break was now due, so off to the local Coffee Shop, with my letters I flew.

Ten Minutes was what I was given, and it always goes by faster than you would believe. So, I quickly sat down and ordered my coffee and donut, while sharing God with the man next to me.

Soon, my ten minutes were over, I stood and started for the door. I stopped suddenly, impressed, to share with him, what God had given to me the night before.

Grabbing a napkin, I began to share, A.C.T.S. “Sir, when you pray, pray this way. It may help you with what you must do today.

A – Is for Adoration, giving God our deep love and respect.

C – Is for Confession, admitting to God our sins. Now we are a clean vessel to glorify him.

T – Is for Thanksgiving, expressing our gratitude toward God.

S – Is for Supplication, let your request be made known.
By asking God the request has been sewn.

The man responded with a grateful heart. He had to write a letter and did not know where to start.

He had awoken at 5:30 that morning and struggled with what he knew he had to do. He grabbed a book to help him, but it did not give him a clue.

He tried another book and much to his dismay. Neither book could help him with what he had to say.

Deep in his spirit, a voice within him rose. “Go to the coffee shop, a young man there knows.”

He now had a clear understanding of what he had to do. He had to meet this young man who the answer knew.

I glanced at my watch, as I opened the door. Only ten minutes had passed since I had first crossed the floor.

I am grateful and thankful, that I took God with me that Day. I now listen very closely to what he has to say.”
