In 2012, on a Friday, while delivering mail to a truck engine repair shop on my route, I had established a good rapport with the owner and mechanic. Business was slow at the time, and during a conversation, the owner mentioned that he knew of my faith and prayerful nature. He expressed a need for more business and asked if I could pray for his business to prosper. I suggested we pray immediately, and he agreed. In my prayer, I asked God to bring more customers to his shop and for this to serve as a living testimony to God’s mercy, care, and love for both the owner and his mechanic. After the prayer, I encouraged the owner to give all praise to God.
Three days later, on Monday, the owner excitedly told me that I was welcome to pray for their business anytime, as they had been flooded with calls from people needing truck repairs. He attributed this surge in business to the power of prayer and gave all praise to God.
