The Christian walk is to be a walk of faith. We must trust and believe in God and His Word; for within this we see faith. We are to read His Word, believe His Word, apply His Word, and become a doer of His Word. “Without faith, we cannot please God.” Faith comes from hearing, believing, and trusting the Word of God. You have become a new creature in Christ Jesus.
Began to read, study, and apply His Word. It is important to get the Word of God in you, for we now walk by faith. Again, let me say, faith comes by hearing, hearing the Word of God. As a believer in Christ, you will be put to work, and He will use you in reaching others for His Kingdom.
When your spiritual house, your body, and soul is in order, you will be in line for His blessings and favor. Yes, God will have you right where He wants you.
The walls of rebellion, disobedience, and your own self-will, will begin to crumble, and you will be opened to the will of God, in and for your life. He will call you His friend, and you will call Him your friend.
Here, we see the meaning that Jesus is, “a friend that sticks closer than a brother.”
- God is not looking for a super-human people, but He is looking for a holy and pure people. In a holy and pure people, He will have a vessel of honor and glory. from which His Holy Spirit will flow, with power and might.
- God is not looking for a personality, a showman, or an actor; He is looking for a vessel of honor and glory. For all might, and all power, and all glory, are His. We are, you might say, the conduit or vessel in which He uses and flows through, to get the message of the Gospel of Christ Jesus out to a lost people.
We were once lost in our sins, but now are made free from the destructive power of Satan, and his deceptive ways. In conclusion, remember this, God will always go before us in battle. In ourselves, we are powerless.
When Satan, the enemy of our soul, surrounds us, we can say to that devil and remind him, that in and of myself, I am powerless, but as stated in 1 John 4:4, greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.
Always remember, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are in you, working together as one. Now we see God and you as one. There is power over every deceptive way that the devil brings before you and me. Just as a reminder, we are not little Gods. There is only one God, and we are His child. God is in control by the power of the Holy Spirit, working in the believer.
Christ Jesus overcame the devil in every way, and with Christ in you, in me; Satan, the devil, will have to flee, when we take authority over him through Christ Jesus. Yes, in Him, in Christ “we live, move and have our being.” It is assuring to know that we are in the hands of the Almighty, all-powerful God.
